July 19, 2010. The Thai Tapioca Development Institute at Huay Bong hosted an event to officially transfer the Anagyrus lopezi to members of the four associations of the tapioca industry . Viddhaya Vejjajiva, board member of the Foundation of the Institute presided over the ceremony.  Deputy minister of agriculture and cooperatives, Supachai Pothisu , attended the meeting and gave a vote of thanks to the TTDI and the Department of Agriculture in their efforts to control the mealy bugs.
